Panama City Gaming Control Board (JCJ) authorizes the Hipódromo Presidente Remón to offer online horse betting. It is when the racecourse activities resume on October 1. The Panama City facility is also adapting its current shops for in-person betting to follow the health protocol.
The national government is helping modernize the horse racing sector, which is needed. It is a statement from the executive secretary of the JCJ, Miguel Sanchez.
What to Expect with Online Horse Betting?
After completing the registration process, the users will be able to bet on national races. Additionally, online horse betting will also allow international bets.
The horse racing industry is ready for activities to launch on October 1. Without betting, there are no races. JCJ, along with the Ministry of Health, is taking necessary steps by visiting shops, allowing people to gamble. However, people will not be able to state, neither are not allowed to sit.
Other Measures To Ensure Safety
A drill has carried out last August 21, where the authorities established that they are compliant with all the security measures. Aside from that, all protocols that have been set by the Ministry of Health are strictly implemented.
The national government and Panama’s horse racing authorities have done a great job. The industry complied with all the biosecurity measures. But if in case they fail to do so, JCJ and Ministry will suspend the races.
