Finding the best bookie software for your sportsbook is not an easy thing to do. Our sportsbook pay per head reviews aim to help you find what you need faster. And is StandardPerHead.com a provider someone you need? The company has been in business for over 10 years, so reliability is not an issue. But is their software good enough to make it easy for you to manage a sportsbook? Are their rates worth it? Let us find out as we get to know StandardPerHead.com, their software’s features, and more. We’ll let you know how we find using their software in our StandardPerHead.com pay per head review.
At first glance, they seem to offer the industry standard in terms of services, as well as the price point. I guess this is why they are aptly called StandardPerHead.com. They offer complete bookie software features at different price points that fit your needs. This includes the hosting for a sportsbook website that your players will use to bet, and the backend website housing your bookie software.

Opening a PPH Account with StandardPerHead.com
StandardPerHead.com offers a pretty straightforward approach to registration. And this is something we like. There are no questions, and no payments needed as they offer two weeks free. We appreciate the honesty in their free trial as other providers mislead you by saying you have a free trial, only to require a downpayment before gaining access. Its refreshing to see another company that is similar to the best sportsbook pay per head service in terms of honest advertising. Unfortunately, it takes quite a bit before you get an email with the details for logging in to your account. So if you are in a rush, then you are out of luck.
The welcome email eventually arrives, and you will gain access to the pay per head software. But before we get into that, we’ll first look at the cost of using their services. After all, it would be moot to look into software that does not match your price point. StandardPerHead.com is not an expensive company, although their rates vary. Here is the latest rate they have advertised:
As you can see, the price differs based on the number of players you have. The list of services and software features remains the same though, and we will get into that in a bit. So, for Standard Per Head, you can use their service for as low as $6 per player. The $6 rate is especially for bookies in the Gold Tier (having 200+ members) who use Cryptocurrency to pay for their fees. But if you are managing a small operation of 1-49 players, the price is at $10. They do offer a 10% bonus for every deposit using Crypto.
Even so, this is quite expensive for a pay per head software. We know of some who offer top-tier bookie software at a much lower price point. But we’ll see. Sometimes, providers offer a few extra features that will make the money with it. But if we are not convinced, then you’ll end up paying for something you can get elsewhere for much cheaper.
StandardPerHead.com Pay Per Head Review
StandardPerHead.com offers sports betting, an online casino, and horse racing. This is pretty standard. They also offer web and mobile compatibility, which again is quite a normal thing to offer, so its not like its groundbreaking. The same goes for their real-time lines, live betting, prop bet builder, live reports, and custom profiles and limits. The interface is okay, you can find what you need easily, but this is where the good things end. First, the actual software. They use DGS software, which is, again, pretty standard for the industry. However, they haven’t implemented customization or added features to elevate their sportsbook software.
This gives a very outdated feel, especially when other providers who have been in business as long as they have are constantly innovating and evolving.
Next, we move on to the player management feature. You can customize limits and such, which again, is nothing worth writing home about. But the disappointment lies in our inability to add players. We have to contact customer service to do this. Not only is it time-consuming, but it decreases efficiency.
At first, the menu make it seems like everything is easy to find. But once you get to actually managing your sportsbook, this is where problems arise. Customization is quite challenging, especially since you need to go deeper and deeper into the software to change things. This is vastly different from the providers we know, like this Pay Per Head Bookie, where the interface is very, very clean and easy to use. At this point, any confidence we had about StandardPerHead.com has become, well, pu unintended, pretty standard and underwhelming. We hope to see them improve on the interface, so it wont be too time consuming to use their software.
Our Opinion of this Bookie Pay Per Head Provider
StandardPerHead.com offers a pretty standard service, and their software, while good, still needs a lot of work. At $10 per player, we expected a lot more. At the very least, we should at least have the ability to add players on our own. I want to see better from this provider, but it seems that the time is not now. If at first it seems like they were the standard everyone else should follow, they ended up being pretty standard, and not in a good way. If you want to use a pay per head bookie software that is efficient, well-planned, and affordable, there are a lot of options you should try first.
