As of August 1, 2023, the Philippine government has stated that PEZA visa (also known as PV) holders are no longer need to have a valid Travel Pass. The initial implementation of this rule was a reaction to the widespread spread of the COVID-19 virus. These individuals were once required to submit a Travel Pass prior to leaving the Philippines on each trip. Travel Passes are still necessary for persons holding Regional Operating Headquarters or EO226 visas until further notice. It usually takes five to seven business days to receive this pass.
