Although the small principality of Liechtenstein is best known for its Alpine landscapes and medieval castles, it also boasts a more down-to-earth tourist attraction: casinos.

The microstate of Liechtenstein has six casinos in operation, making it known as the "Las Vegas of the Alps" among gamblers despite having a population less than a tenth as large as that of London.

If voters approve a ban on casinos on January 29th, however, they will all be forced to shut down.
