NBA 2K24, which will be launched this week on the 8th, has a very large install size for Xbox Series X|S consoles, as was recently discovered. Even a game like Starfield, which spans an entire galaxy and has more than a thousand planets and hundreds of hours of gameplay, can't compare to its immensity.

Recently, it was found that NBA 2K24's install size will clock in at 161 GB at launch, and that doesn't include the standard 'day one patch' that comes with pretty much every game these days. However, that is not an exception; the last installment in the series had a stunning 152 GB installation need when it was launched.
